Friday, May 9 // Shoot the Freak Fridays

Trade, 10pm: Let your freak flag fly tonight at Trade Nightclub’s weekly celebration of weird. Borrowing its name from the iconic Coney Island attraction, Shoot the Freak Fridays offers a unique spin on Miami Beach unlike any club in Miami. You’ll have to experience for yourself. ($15)

Our place, 10:15am: Start your day off right with some oceanside poses to align your chakras. Make sure to pack water, a towel and your positive energy. (Free)

Saturday, May 10 // Saturday Happy Hour

Our place, 6:30pm: And end your day the right way with a visit to our backyard. Kosher Beats will be provided by DJ Macabi and a Broken Shaker happy hour will be provided by Atlantico Rum. (Free)

Sunday, May 11 // I’m In Miami Bitch

Our place, 3pm: Meet us in the backyard to celebrate the release of Andrew Kaufman’s photo-journal of Miami’s street art scene, I’m In Miami Bitch, and pick up a signed copy for yourself. In addition to your favorite Broken Shaker cocktails, artist Noah Levy will be live-painting a new poolside mural while the Haitian Hillbilly works his magic in the DJ booth. (Free)

Monday, May 12 // Celebrate National Bike Month

Everywhere: As if we needed an extra reason to celebrate our favorite mode of transportation. Hop on your bike and take a two-wheeled tour of Miami. No wheels? No worries. Stop by the front desk to rent a bike from us for the day (Training wheels not included). (Free-$15)

Tuesday. May 13 // Taco Tuesday

Wood Tavern, 6pm: It’s a scientific fact that tacos make everything better, and when they’re free at Taco Tuesdays, you can’t afford not to get your fill. Don’t worry if you’re late to the party, after 9pm tacos are still a very reasonable $1 each. (Free)

Wednesday, May 14 // English Lessons

Our place, 10:30am: Team up with the Language On crew in our lobby every Wednesday morning for a fun and relaxed 50-minute English and accent reduction session. (Free)

Thursday, May 15 // Symbiotic Promise: Ernesto Kunde

Bakehouse Art Complex, 7pm: Ernesto Kunde’s latest installation aims to give viewers a heightened awareness and appreciation of their surroundings through his intensive examination of mangroves, sea grapes and other native plant life. You’ll leave the gallery with a new appreciation of Miami’s beauty. ($5)
