Sylvano

Three crew-approved eateries that are delicious, cheap and easy to get to:

Grab breakfast at The Front Porch Cafe

When there’s a solid breakfast joint that appreciates both the people who love waking up at 7am and the people who don’t, we immediately take notice. Bike or walk to this SoBe gem sometime between 7am and 6pm (that’s almost 12 hours of breakfast!) and order up our all-time favorite: the hearty granola pancakes served with fresh fruit. On occasion, we like to go all out and infuse them with chocolate chips, because yolo.

Stop for lunch at La Sandwicherie

This super-casual sandwich shop is a serious bang for your hard-earned dollar bills and it’s literally at your disposal almost every hour of the day (open 8am-5am), which is a godsend when trying to sate those 3am munchies. But rest assured that “party animal” is not a requirement for enjoying this South Beach staple. We suggest rolling up around lunchtime, ordering anything (because ev-er-y-thing is incredible, especially when on a croissant) and setting out for the beach.

Have dinner at Sylvano Restaurant

Sylvano’s warm, Italian vibes and homey outdoor gardens will quickly lull you into deep foodie bliss. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Keep dinner classic with the spaghetti pomodoro e basilico (about $10) or go for something new by ordering up the octopus carpaccio (about $11). Also, they make a killer tiramisu and it will be the best you ever had. Order it. Eat it. Thank us later.
